Sports activities are very important for health and personality of students. Sports are usually governed by a set of rules or customs, which serve to ensure fair competitions, and allow consistent Decision of the winning. Winning can be determined by physical events such as scoring goals or crossing a line first Our college always encourages students to participate in various intra-collegiate and inter-collegiate sport games. In the academic year 2019-20, Sports & Gymkhana Committee organized inter-college sports events in Box Cricket, Chess and Carom competitions on 19 th and 20 th December 2019. 21 box cricket teams had participated from different colleges like RZ Shah Mulund, KV Pendarkar College, Dombivli, DAV College, Bhandup, M.S. College, Mumbra, J.M Patel College, SIWS College, sion, Kamaladevi College, PCE College, Sri Ram College, Shri Jayandand College, SICES College etc. Successfully box cricket competitions were conducted with co-operation of staff and students. In box cricket, first prize was bagged by VPM’s R.Z.Shah College, Mulund and Second Prize was taken by KV Pendarkar College Dombivili and Best Bowler and Man of the series was awarded to Mr. Chirag Gupta from KV Pendarkar College, for his talents and skills in the game and Best Batsman prize was awarded to Mr. Sushant More from VPM’s RZ Shah College, Mulund, for his batting skills and high score.
In Chess competitions, 20 participates had participated and First Prize was bagged by SST College Student and Second Prize was bagged by Saket College Student. In Carom competitions, 52 students had participated and First Prize was taken by Bharat College students, Badlapur and Second Prize was taken by Anad Vishwa Guru College, Thane.
Simultaneously Intra College sports competitions were conducted between 7 th January 2020 to 11 th January 2020. Accordingly, sports schedules were displayed on the notice board for student’s information. Student’s council members and sports volunteers have helped whole heartedly to organize sports events smoothly. More than 150 students participated in the different sports game, indoor games like carom, chess and bad-minton for boys and girls and outdoor games like Kho-kho, Kabaddi, Volly-ball, Box Crickets, Relay-Running, Shot-put, Dodge-Ball and Tug of war for both boys and girls. Indoor sports game – Badminton was conducted at Lions Gymkhana by hiring the Badminton court where as Carom, Chess for girls and boys were smoothly conducted in college campus, All outdoor games were conducted at college ground. Students participated with great enthusiasm with full of sport spirit. The Management was overwhelmed with the responses of the students and appreciated students’ sports spirit and performance.

The prize distribution ceremony was held on 29 th February 2020, Students were felicitated for their outstanding efforts and presented with mementos and certificates at the hands of the chief guest. These 5 days intra-college sports event and 2 days Inter-college sports competitions were succeeded with co-operation and supports of all teaching and non-teaching staff, Students Council members, Alumni students and Sports Committee volunteers.
