Library Rules & Regulations
- Every student entering the library should posses his or her identity card. It should be produced as and when demanded.
- Identity Cards are non-transferable. In no case books will be issued on others cards.
- Students must handle library material with proper care. Mutilation and the defaulter will be suitably fined for Negligence of library material will be treated as Misconduct.
- If the original identity card/Library card is lost, a duplicate will be issued on payment of Rs. 50/- each.
- Books will not be issued without library card. Maximum of two books (during exam period) are issued on each borrower’s card for a period of seven days.
- In case of late return of books student will have to pay fine at the rate of Rs. 1/- per day for the first 30 days and Rs. 2/- per day afterwards. In case of serious default amount of fine may be increased to Rs. 10/- per day.
- Re-issue of the book will depend upon the demand for the same.
- Library is a place for study and hence perfect silence should be maintain in the Library Premises
- Eatable are not allowed in the Library.
- Keep mobile in silent mode, once the student enters the Library.
- If any reference book is required, student should approach the librarian.
- All cases of disregard of these rules will be reported to the principal for appropriate action.
